Nature Stories at North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, Raleigh, January 30

Date: January 30, 2014North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences

Time: 10:30 – 11:30 am

You and your children are invited to participate in a nature-themed storytime and activity!  Meet other families in your community and enjoy the outdoors during these fun-filled programs at the Prairie Ridge amphitheater.  Stories and activities are geared toward children 6 and younger, though everyone is welcome.

Meet at the Prairie Ridge amphitheater by following the “Nature Stories” signs from the front entrance. You will walk on natural surface trails on your way to the amphitheater, so rugged strollers or packs are recommended for younger children.  Dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes for this program.

For more information, contact Mandy Cuskelly at mandy.cuskelly@naturalsciences.org or 919.707.9934. In case of inclement weather, call the Prairie Ridge weather line at 919.707.8888, option 5, for information about possible cancellations.

Requirements: Wear closed-toed shoes and be prepared for a short walk over uneven surfaces

Location: Prairie Ridge – Amphitheater

Fee: Free
